Who the course is for
A basic understanding of the quality management systems and concepts would be an advantage.
Familiarity with the structure and requirements of ISO 9001 standard would be of benefit. Lack of this will not be detrimental to those contemplating, or in the process of implementing a system to achieve conformance
Course Contents
ISO 9000 series of standards which werefirst published in 1987 brought in a new revolution in the industry across theglobe in terms of identifying risks to the business and managing themsystematically and in a sustained manner.
At the conclusion of this course delegates will have been provided with :
- An understanding of the concept of quality and the historical evolution thereof
- An understanding of the philosophy behind the modern approaches to quality management
- An understanding of the basic quality concepts and vocabulary
- A review and examination of the ISO 9001 requirements
- An understanding of the potential benefits of implementation of ISO 9001
