ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management System (Modular) Auditor Transition (IRCA Certified)

 

Objectives

  • On completing the course, students will be able to:
  • Understand the purpose and use of EnMS
  • Understand reference to the high-level structure
  • Describe in outline the framework for EnMS standard drawing comparison with ISO 50001:2011 standards where appropriate
  • Understand new and revised terms /definitions
  • Understand the changes arising as a result of migration to ISO 50001:2018

Who the course is for

This Modular auditor transition training course is intended to provide delegates with the knowledge on significant changes between ISO 50001:2011 and ISO 50001:2018 and the skills to audit the new requirements.

  • Introduction to ISO 50001:2018
  • Significant changes between ISO 50001:2011 and ISO 50001:2018
  • Terms and definitions in ISO 50001:2018
  • 3rd party auditing perspective of the new and the changed requirements

All of this learning is achieved through, pre-course learning by each delegate individually and followed by classroom training consisting of exercises, workshops, presentations and facilitation by qualified trainers in the subject through open discussions and role play.

PRE-REQUISITES: In-depth knowledge of ISO 50001:2011 & an overview of the changes in ISO 50001:2018.Exposure to Management System Standard requirements is desirable.This Transition training is structured for those holding the following grades:

  • Provisional Auditor
  • Auditor
  • Lead Auditor
  • Principal Auditor

Also individuals who have previously successfully completed IRCA/CQI-IRCA certified training courses but who have then elected not to progress to certify as IRCA auditors may choose to attend this transition course in order to receive recognition that their audit skills and knowledge remain current.
