Objectives

By the end of this half-day course, participants will be able to:

Describe the purpose of the CoSHH Regulations
Identify substances which would fall under the remit of hazardous
Recognise the risks associated with various substances
Discuss the importance of controls
Apply best practice in day to day operations
Achieve the pass mark in the end of workshop test

Who the course is for

The COSHH Awareness course will provide delegates with the understanding of relevant legislation, including the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (COSHH) and the Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Chemicals Regulations 2015.
