Who the course is for
PPAP is a key requirements of OEMS and their supply chain tobe complied with by all their suppliers before commencement of bulk supplies ofproduction parts. An initial or modified PPAP process is applicable when:
A new part or product previously not supplied to a specificcustomer
Correction of a discrepancy on a previously supplied part
Product modified by engineering changes
Any situation when the customer warrants a submission

Familiarity with the concepts of PPAP requirements of ISO9001/TS 16949 or IATF 16949 standards with regards to Product realizationplanning, production part approval, Preventive Actions, Corrective Actions, andCorrection etc would be of benefit. Applicabilityof these concepts to suppliers. However lack of this will not be detrimental tothose contemplating, or in the process of, implementing a system to achievecompliance.
