Objectives
This course is designed for those whose responsibility it is to maintain existing systems and who are likely to be involved in auditing their organisation towards meeting SA 8000:2014 requirements.
Who the course is for
Familiarity with the structure and requirements of SA 8000: 2014 would be of benefit. Lack of this, however, will not be detrimental to those contemplating, or in the process of auditing for SA8000:2014 requirements
Course Contents
- Introduction to the field of labour standards and the development of corporate responsibility in the global market.
- Specific emphasis on changed and new requirements in SA 8000:2014 standard
- Overview of tools developed to deliver acceptable labour standards in the corporate sphere, covering the intent, form and content of SA 8000, and the scenarios in which they operate;
- Auditing issues and methodologies used in conducting, monitoring and auditing to the SA 8000 standard.
