Understanding various key terms used in relation to requirements of MSAManual, such as measurement, gage, measurement system and so on…
An understanding of the terms such as discrimination, readability,resolution, precision, repeatability reproducibility, Gage R &R.
The Measurement Process, traceability
Familiarity with the concepts of Product and Process measurementsrequirements of ISO 9001/TS 16949 or IATF 16949 with regards to Productrealization planning, Process and Product Controls, adjustments, Equipment andappraiser variations, data analysis, Calibration etc would be of benefit. However lack of this will not be detrimentalto those contemplating, or in the process of, implementing a system to achievecompliance.
