Objectives
IATF 16949 has been published on the 1st October 2016 as a copyrighted document of IATF (International Automotive Task force). It is no more an ISO Document.
This standard now specifies requirements that are specific to Automotive Industry, but refers to all requirements of ISO 9001:2015 in respective clauses. It also follows the Annex SL format of 10 Clause structure.
Who the course is for
At the conclusion of this course delegates will have been provided with:
- A review and examination of the IATF: 16949:2016 requirements
- An understanding of process and system approach
- Understanding of the management system principles including the concept of continual improvement
- An awareness on the requirements which will enable to successfully attend auditor training courses such as Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor
Course Contents
This course covers only the requirements specific to IATF 16949 standard and does not cover those of ISO 9001:2015. Therefore those attending this course will have to have basic knowledge of requirements of ISO 9001:2015 standard. It is recommended that those who have not gained such knowledge may attend a 1 day formal training on awareness on ISO 9001:2015 standard
